The following apps are great apps to help both you as a classroom teacher, and your students better manage day to day assignments, extra-curricular activities, and personal tasks.

1.) The first app is DayMap Lite.
The following is a screen shot of how it looks when updated with the tasks that are on the schedule and the to do list for the week. You and your students can personalize it for whatever needs you have, such as keep track of homework for five different classes, or for the teacher, keeping track of daily progress in each class you teach!

2.) The next app that is free and a great learning tool for the classroom is GOOGLE HANGOUTS!!!

There is SO much to be done with Google Hangouts! The greatest part being that you can use it on just about any electronic device! It does NOT have to just be used on Apple Products! How Great!

All it takes is a Google email and you can run free with it! Connect live to professionals in the industry, go on a virtual field trip to that classroom in Jamaica, connect to a panel of up to TEN people at the same time and run a live panel alongside a chat room that is open to anyone with the link (helpful if your students want to ask questions as the panel is going), etc. etc.! The sky is the limit on who you can connect to for FREE in and out of your classroom~! Teachers could even have a video conference with parents who cannot make conferences for various reasons!

Reading, Writing, Arithmetic
Basic reading and writing skills can be taught with the help of recording and audio playback, giving students instant feedback on their progress.
